To the Day of Taras Shevchenko’s reburial in Kanev, on May 22, institutions organize an open day and prepare thematic programs for visitors.
In the Shevchenko National Museum, you can see:
— the main exposition,
— the exhibition “Strength in Diversity”.
The works of 11 artists from Kharkiv, Lviv and Krakow are presented. The paintings were created in the last year after the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine and carry echoes of complex and tragic experiences, emotionally and subtly conveyed in the works of the artists.
— “Rise to yourself”
The project offers an opportunity to reflect on the experience, psychological and social problems of wartime with the help of art – drawings by Taras Shevchenko and the works of modern artists Anton Logov and Andriy Dudchenko.
— “Fry pan. On the edge of time”
Therefore, the path that Skovorod chose in his time can serve as a guide for us. It is a path to self-knowledge that never ends, on which a person shares experience and accepts experience. Within the framework of the exhibition, with the help of numerous interactive elements, meanings are combined and layered, offering to reflect on the ideas of the most influential Ukrainian philosopher.
