US Presidential Administration Donald Trump plans to organize another meeting of the Special Representative in Ukraine Steve Witcoff with the Russians to discuss the framework agreement on war settlement, reports CNN.
Trump’s special representative will try to convince Moscow to join Washington’s plan.
As it is noted, the proposed US plan envisages fixing the front line, ceasefire and actual recognition of Russia’s control over the occupied territories, taking into account the Crimea.
It is reported that this provision was brought to the Ukrainian and European sides in the negotiations in Paris, and also discussed in a telephone conversation between US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov.
