“Ukrenergo” proved to everyone operators of distribution systems (oblenergo) consumption limits that apply throughout the day. As of 11:00 a.m. on January 24, there are no reports of exceeding the limits. So oblenergo has the opportunity not to apply emergency power cuts.
As reported “Ukrainian Energy”, on January 23, distribution system operators used emergency power cuts in Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhya, Volyn and Lviv regions due to exceeding consumption limits.
Scheduled or emergency restrictions on electricity consumption have been applied daily in Ukraine since the beginning of massive missile attacks and drone attacks on Ukrainian energy infrastructure on October 10, 2022.
