Yermak discussed infrastructure restoration and Ukraine’s military needs with Sullivan

The head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, had a telephone conversation with the US President’s national security advisor, Jake Sullivan, and told him about the situation on the battlefield.

“The officials discussed the equipment needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the importance of expanding training missions for Ukrainian soldiers in partner countries. The interlocutors also exchanged views on Ukraine’s plans to use F-16 fighter jets this summer and the need to supply Ukraine with new air defense systems,” the website of the Ukrainian head of state reports.

Yermak and Sullivan analyzed the results of the Peace Summit held in Switzerland and US efforts to restore and protect Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, and agreed on the coordination and priority of these efforts, the message emphasizes.
