Since the beginning of the current day, there have already been 42 combat clashes on the front of the Ukrainian-Russian war, 14 of them in the Pokrovsk direction, according to operational information on the Russian invasion as of 10:00 Monday, published on the page of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook.
“Today, in the Pokrovsky direction, the enemy made 14 attempts to dislodge our defenders from their positions. One attack towards Novooleksandrivka was repulsed. Fighting continues in Yevhenivka, Novoselivka Pershoya, Umansky and Novooleksandrivka districts. Near the last one, the enemy is most active,” – is going in summary
According to the General Staff, since the beginning of the day, the occupiers have carried out 27 kamikaze drone strikes and fired more than 500 times at the positions of Ukrainian troops and peaceful settlements.
In the direction of Kharkiv, the enemy attacked the positions of units of the Defense Forces in the Vovchansk area twice since midnight, the fighting continues. On the Kupyan direction, the battle with the enemy continues in the area of Pishchany, the situation is under control. On the Lyman direction, the enemy is actively attacking in the areas of Grekivka, Makiivka, and Torsky, and seven combat clashes are ongoing. In the northern direction, two enemy assaults continue near Vyimka and Rozdolivka.
Since the beginning of the day, in the Kramatorsk direction, there have already been two unsuccessful combat clashes for the occupiers near Klishchiivka. In the Kurakhiv direction, the enemy is trying to break through the Ukrainian defenses in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Georgiivka, and Paraskoviivka, four attacks by the occupiers were successfully repelled, and the assault near Krasnohorivka continues. In the Orihiv direction, the aggressor unsuccessfully tried to dislodge Ukrainian soldiers from their positions in the areas of Robotyny and Mala Tokmachka.
