The water temperature in the Dnipro is +15 degrees Celsius.
The second wave of water harvesting in the capital is being signaled. As of 9:00 a.m. today, the water level in the Dnieper in Kyiv near the “Metro” bridge is 9,262 cm (according to the Baltic Height System).
Water temperature: 15°C. Compared to the previous day, the water level increased by eight centimeters.
“This rise does not have any negative consequences, there are no threats for Kyiv. No emergency flooding was recorded in the city. The level of danger of hydrological phenomena remains I (yellow). At the same time, flooding of the floodplain is prevented with a layer of about 15-20 cm,” he informs Serhiy Popko, head of the KMVA.
The floodplain areas remain flooded – islands in the Muromets Park, Hydropark, Trukhaniv Island, Galerna Zatoka, Korchuvate, private plots in the Osokorki district. Industrial facilities and residential areas of the city are out of danger of flooding. Monitoring of this year’s watering continues.
