The decision of the International Criminal Court (ICC) on the arrest warrant for Russian President Vladimir Putin means that there can be no negotiations with the Russian elite. Mykhailo Podolyak, adviser to the head of the Office of the President, wrote about this on Twitter.
According to him, the legal fixation of the “current president of the Russian Federation” as an unconditional international criminal directly means:
- no negotiations with the current Russian elite;
- no return of Russia to world politics in its pre-war status;
- no lifting of sanctions while the “face of Putin” represents Russia.
