Prosecutor General of Ukraine Iryna Venediktova took a one-day vacation on December 20. It was on the date on which the notice of suspicion was signed against the fifth president, the leader of “European Solidarity” Petro Poroshenko.

It was Deputy Prosecutor General Simonenko who signed the notice of suspicion against Petro Poroshenko – although in accordance with the law in the absence of the Prosecutor General, his duties shall be performed by the first deputy Prosecutor General.

According to the investigation, in the period from November 2014 to January 2015, Poroshenko authorized the purchase of coal from enterprises under the control of “LPR” and “DPR. A week ago, acting General Prosecutor Oleksiy Symonenko signed the suspicion because Iryna Venediktova suddenly went on vacation.
