Dmytro Kuleba, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, said that he regrets that Pope Francis never visited Ukraine during the entire time of the full-scale invasion. He said this during an interview for the BBC.

Kuleba believes that for a strong position, the Ukrainian side in possible negotiations with the aggressor country, Russia, needs an appropriate coalition. After the end of the war, support should be as strong as possible. According to the Ukrainian minister, it should include the Pope.
