Italy will allow tourists who have been vaccinated with vaccines not recognized in the EU to visit

Such information is contained in the decree of the Council of Ministers approved on February 2, 2022, the press service of the Kiji Government Palace reports. Tourists will also be able to visit institutions where they will be required to have a covid certificate of vaccination with a vaccine recognized in the EU, upon providing a negative test result for coronavirus.

Health Minister Roberto Speranza explained: “this decision will solve many problems and provide important opportunities in the tourism sector.” The minister also noted that this decision does not affect the rules and restrictions in force for entering Italy.

According to the current rules, for tourists from Ukraine, entry to Italy for tourist purposes is prohibited until March 15, 2022. Entry is allowed for reasons of a working nature (for a period of more than 120 hours) for treatment, training
