The head of the OVA answered when the armed forces can enter Luhansk

Date:

Someone wants to wake up tomorrow and hear an announcement about the de-occupation of Kreminnaya. But our main goal is for the de-occupation to take place with minimal losses.

About it on the air 24 Kanala Serhiy Gaidai, the head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, said. The official hopes that the Ukrainian army will liberate Luhansk already this year.

Not like the Russians

“I communicate with our soldiers, scouts, tankers, representatives of the Armed Forces, National Guardsmen and border guards. The most important thing for us is that we carry out the de-occupation not in the same way as the Russians do, attacking Ukrainian cities”, – shared Gaidai.

The official believes that the Ukrainian army does not need tactics like the Russians at Soledar, where losses reach tens of thousands.

We are not a country of 140 million people, for us every fighter is a hero. Without exaggeration,
– said Gaidai.

They fight in hellish conditions

According to the head of the OVA, the soldiers on the front lines stand and advance in hellish conditions. A few months ago, they were in the swamp, under the rain, at a temperature of 1-2 degrees Celsius, with frostbitten limbs. When Gaidai last visited the front line, it was -15 degrees below zero.

Let the operation be planned and it will take a week, two or three, but eventually we will get our result. Will we take a whole brigade, will we put half, but tomorrow we will definitely de-occupy some settlement,
– compared Serhii Gaidai.

The official is sure that Luhansk Region will be released already this year, but wishes that it would be done in a timely manner.
