According to the public indictment of the prosecutors of the Ivano-Frankivsk District Prosecutor’s Office, the court found a local resident guilty of domestic violence (Article 126-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). He was sentenced to 2 months in prison.
It was proven in court that the husband committed psychological violence against his ex-wife over a long period of time, which was expressed in threats and obscene expressions.
The abuser systematically quarreled, insulted and humiliated the mother of their four minor children.
The court’s verdict becomes legally binding after the deadline for filing an appeal has expired.
