The Ambassador of Ukraine to Serbia had a working meeting with the Mayor of Belgrade

So, on January 27, the official meeting of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine in the Republic of Serbia took place Volodymyr Tolkach with the Mayor of Belgrade, Aleksandar Šapić.

At the meeting, V. Tolkach handed the mayor of Belgrade an official invitation to visit Kyiv from Mayor of Kyiv V. Klychka.
Vitaliy Klitschko stated in the invitation that Kyiv is ready for fruitful cooperation between cities and exchange of experience in various fields.

The possibilities of cooperation between the capitals became one of the main topics of the meeting.
The ambassador also discussed with the mayor of Belgrade the planned events of the embassy until February 24 and invited to participate in them.
In turn, the mayor of Belgrade expressed his condolences to Kyiv and the Ukrainian people and wished the war to end as soon as possible.
A. Shapych promised to consider V. Klitschko’s invitation, and also assured of Belgrade’s interest in developing a partnership between the capitals of both states.
