Types of military servicemen’s financial support:
- monthly basic (postal salary, salary according to military rank and seniority allowance),
- monthly additional (increase in salary, allowances, surcharges and bonuses),
- one-time additional payments (gratuities and benefits).
The amount of financial support for Ukrainian military personnel depends on the position held, military rank, duration, intensity and conditions of military service.
We will remind you that in April 2024, the government updated the system of payments to Ukrainian defenders. The main factors are position, rank, service conditions, etc.
Thus, a soldier who is directly on the battlefield should receive about 20 thousand hryvnias of basic financial support and 100 thousand hryvnias for participating in combat operations.
In addition, the government recently established that 70 thousand hryvnias will be paid to soldiers on the frontline every 30 days.
There are also additional rewards and surcharges for destroyed enemy military equipment.
