The EU4Business project focuses on processing and the creative industry
12 businesses can get a grant in the amount of 40,000 euros for each applicant. The total fund of the project to support export-oriented innovative businesses from EU4Business is €480,000, informs Ministry of Economy of Ukraine.
Who can receive a grant and what are the priorities?
Small businesses and enterprises working in several or one of the priority directions for grantors can apply for a grant:
- processing in the food industry, light industry or construction or mechanical engineering, manufacture of furniture and other goods that can be characterized as a processing industry;
- business in the direction of creating fashionable things, designs, as well as other areas of the creative industry;
- export and innovative companies that have a projected potential for development.
Each of the grant recipients can use both material and consulting support.
“Priority will be given to enterprises that adhere to the principles of circular economy, green economy, ecologically clean production, energy efficiency, and renewable energy,” the organizer of the grant competition notes.
The deadline for issuing the grant applications – June 25.
Grants are provided within the framework of the special program for international business support “EU4Business: recovery, competitiveness and internationalization of SMEs”. This project is financed by the institutions of the European Union, the German government and implemented by the German federal company Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH.
