The Kyiv and the SBU police have reported suspicion of the deputy chairman of the KSCA in the organization of the scheme for the transfer of conscripts through the State Border of Ukraine, the National Police of Ukraine reports.
“The official helped the conscript to go to European countries under the guise of gas trucks from a commercial enterprise that allegedly had to deliver diesel fuel for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the humanitarian needs of the capital,” – it is said In a message on the website of the Office Thursday.
The message is not named the name of the person, however, according to the information of the agency “Interfax-Ukraine”, it is about the deputy mayor of Kiev Vitaliy Klitschko Vladimir Prokopiv.
According to the National Police, at the instruction of the person, only from May to June 2022, more than 30 men of conscript age was entered in the information system “Path”, which, without legal grounds, crossed the border of Ukraine.
“The investigation found that the firm, on behalf of which was given letters to travel abroad, did not have vehicles and licenses for business activities, and its” employees “did not have a driver’s license of the relevant category, or they were not employed at all,” – said.
On the basis of the evidence collected, Kyiv investigators informed the 41-year-old official of suspicion under two articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine: Part 2 of Art. 332 – illegal crossing of persons across the state border of Ukraine, committed by an official with the use of office; Part 3 of Art. 362-unauthorized actions with information that is processed in electronic computers (computers), automated systems, computer networks or stored on the media of such information committed by a person who has the right to access it.
The issue of choosing a preventive measure is currently being resolved. According to the sanction, the suspect faces imprisonment for up to seven years with deprivation of the right to occupy certain positions or engage in certain activities for a term of up to three years.
