“YOU ARE THE SPACE” is the director’s debut feature film Pavlo Ostrikovmember of the European Film Academy, laureate of international film festivals in Locarno and Odesa.
IN the movie it is about the space trucker Andriy, who after the explosion of the Earth remained the only person who survived until the Frenchwoman Catherine gets in touch. Despite the huge distance and the wrecked ship, Andrii flies to her to see her.

The picture was created by a film company ForeFilms with support The State Agency of Ukraine on Cinema.
“We are proud to be the first Ukrainian film selected for this program! And we hope that soon we will be able to finish the film and present it in the next edition of Cannes,” said the film producer Volodymyr Yatsenko.
Frontières is an international co-production marketplace and networking platform focused on genre film financing and co-production between Europe and North America. It is organized by the Fantasia International Film Festival in partnership with the Marché du Film.
This year Frontières will pass with May 20 to 21, 2023 in Cannes.
Marché du Film is one of the largest film markets in the world. Founded in in 1959it is held annually in parallel with the Cannes Film Festival.
As of 2023 12,500 film industry professionals visit Cannes every year to present about 4,000 films and projects. The main purpose The Marché du Film – to bring together different members of the audiovisual industry to network and discuss business opportunities such as collaboration and co-production, financing and distribution.
