From May 1, the Great Lavra bell tower of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra will be open to visitors for the first time since the war

The Great Lavra bell tower is one of the visual symbols of Kyiv. The bell tower offers a majestic view of the picturesque Dnipro. In the 19th century travelers testified that in clear weather, from the top tier of the Lavra bell tower, you can see Kozelets, Pereyaslav, Vasylkiv and the surrounding area at a distance of at least 150 kilometers. You can climb the bell tower by climbing more than 200 steps and enjoy a bird’s-eye view (60 m) a wonderful panorama of Kyiv. During an air raid, visitors can descend into the shelter located on the first floor of the bell tower.

Hours of operation of the “Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra”: from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. every day.
