The heads of foreign states brought to Kyiv “a symbol of mutual respect, friendship and partnership”, noted Zuzana Chaputova.
In the morning of April 28 President of Slovakia Zuzana Chaputova and President of the Czech Republic Petr Pavel arrived in Kyiv on a visit, during which they will meet with the head of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi. It became known from Facebook pages Zuzana Chaputova.
In the first part of the trip, the heads of foreign states will visit Bucha and Borodyanka. Last spring, these cities became symbols of the war crimes of the Russian occupiers.
Chaputova added that, together with the president of the Czech Republic, she is bringing to Kyiv “a symbol of mutual respect, friendship and partnership.”
“Our signal is clear: we are connected with Ukraine not only by a border and a common past, but also by a common future. I am returning to Kyiv less than a year after my last visit, which impressed me for the rest of my life,” the President of Slovakia emphasized.
It also responded to the Russian night attack on Ukrainian cities.
“Today’s shameful attacks on some Ukrainian cities, including Dnipro and Uman, where innocent civilians died, remind us that we cannot afford to look away,” wrote Zuzana Chaputova.
