In Saxony, a search is underway for 9-year-old Valeria from Ukraine, who left home to go to the school bus stop and did not return. Helicopters, divers and investigative dogs were used for the search. About this writes edition of Bild on Friday, June 7.
Valeria was last seen around 6:50 a.m. when she left home to catch a bus to school, located about two kilometers away. But the child did not appear at the training. Since the school was not alarmed by the absence of the student, the mother noticed her daughter’s disappearance only during the day.
“Police are using helicopters, divers and sniffer dogs to search for missing Valeria. At the same time, a desperate mother is asking the public to help find her little daughter. Tracking dogs are trying to find the girl’s trail, patrol cars are driving through a small town (24,000 inhabitants) in Saxony,” the article says.
Police spokesman Andrzej Rydzik said the child was reported missing around 6:30 p.m., but there is still no indication of her whereabouts. So far, video recordings and statements of bus drivers have confirmed that Valeria did not go to school on an ordinary bus.
