But before that, there will be an inspection of the recreation areas.
All 14 beaches are planned to be opened in Kyiv this summer, including the Hydropark.
It was reported Deputy of the Kyiv City Council (UDAR faction) Oleksandr Goncharov.
“First, an inspection will take place, based on the results of which conclusions will be drawn regarding the safe opening of beaches,” Oleksandr Goncharov clarified.
According to the deputy, capital repairs have begun on Obolonsky Island. They want to build bicycle paths and a beach area here.
Plesi also hopes that the capital’s beaches will be open this year. The most important issue will remain the safety of staying on the beaches during martial law.
“Evening Kyiv” wrote that last year the bathing season was not officially opened in the capital. However, from mid-May to mid-September, lifeguards were on duty at the bathing areas.
In the same way, lifeguards will go to “work” this season as well. They will be on duty at all beaches and recreation areas where swimming is allowed.
This year, it is planned to organize 24 lifeguard posts. They will still work every day.
