Yes, according to the Turkish lawyer Dr. Kandash Gyurol, who represents the interests of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine in the case of collecting funds from Turkish contractors – a few days ago, the well-known Turkish businessman Halit Arabachi was found dead in his own house. The lawyer does not provide details, the investigation is ongoing.
In the Ukrainian community, the deceased is better known for the case of fraud with the funds of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. In particular, Halit Arabachi’s companies received more than 15 million Euros from the Ministry of Defense for the supply of body armor for the Armed Forces at the beginning of the full-scale invasion, but did not fulfill their delivery obligations and did not return the funds.
