Appetizer with lard and cheremshi


Contrary to all prejudices, scientists have long proven that lard is not only a safe product, but also extremely important for human health. The fact is that it contains irreplaceable acids, vitamins and carotene, the lack of which often leads to pain and ailments. In addition, dishes made from animal fat deposits can be really tasty. We present to your attention a snack of lard with pine nutswhich will change your perception of the product and will be loved by your whole family.

Ingredients for cooking lard with pine nuts:

  1. Fresh fat – 1 kg.
  2. Green pine – 2 bunches
  3. Dill – 1 bunch
  4. Garlic – 3 cloves
  5. Salt and pepper – to taste

Preparation of a snack from lard with pine nuts.

Step 1: Prepare lard for a snack.

Fresh lard must be thoroughly washed and dried. Next, we cut the skin from it with a knife, and cut it into small cubes. Transfer to a bowl and sprinkle each slice of lard well with salt. Cover the bowl with cling film and insist 15-20 minutes at room temperature.

Step 2: Preliminary preparation of other ingredients.

While the lard is infused, we have time to prepare all the other ingredients. The greens of dill and pine should be washed in a colander and chopped with a sharp knife. Peel the garlic and cut each clove into several pieces.

Step 3: Preparing a savory snack.

The dish can be prepared using a blender, meat grinder or mixer, which must be fitted with a grinding attachment. In general, we will need any tool capable of making a puree-like consistency from a certain set of products: it can be both a food processor and an ordinary Russian foot. Place lard, chopped greens, cloves of garlic and a pinch of ground pepper in the blender compartment and grind thoroughly until the entire consistency resembles butter of a uniform green color.

Step 4: We serve a lard snack with pine nuts.

We transfer the finished mixture into a clay pot or a plastic box that is hermetically closed, and put it in the refrigerator. At any moment, when you need it, transfer the required amount into a sauce pan or a butter bowl and serve it chilled. The snack can also be used directly for making sandwiches: on fresh bread or on toast. A spicy dish goes well with any meat products, as a spicy and healthy sauce. In addition, it will always be stored in your refrigerator for a long time in case of sudden arrival of guests or as an unusual snack. And for alcoholic drinks, especially with vodka, such lard spread on black bread is a classic and appropriate snack.
