The match of the 35th round of the English Premier League between “Newcastle” and “Arsenal” took place at the “St. James Park” stadium in Newcastle-upon-Tyne.
“Arsenal” won with a score of 2:0.
In the first half, Martin Edehor scored.
In the middle of the second half, the Gunners increased their advantage.
Mikel Arteta’s Gabriel Jesus received the ball in the center of the field and launched Martinelli on the counterattack. Martin entered the penalty area and shot, Fabian Scher put his foot out and sent the ball into his goal.
Ukrainian Oleksandr Zinchenko started in Arsenal’s starting line-up and spent 61 minutes on the field.
Arsenal is in second place in the Premier League. Mikel Arteta’s side closed the gap on leaders Manchester City to one point, but the Londoners went into the match more. Newcastle with 65 points is third.
In the next round, Arsenal will host Brighton on April 14. Newcastle will face Leeds a day earlier.
