Capital repairs in parks and squares will continue in Kyiv this year

In total, this applies to more than thirty capital squares and parks.

This year, the capital plans to continue repair work and start major repairs in more than 30 squares and parks.

About this Mayor of Kyiv Vitaliy Klitschko reported on the air of the “Kyiv” TV channel.

In particular, this concerns the capital repair of the recreation park between Mykola Bazhana Avenue and Sribnokilska Street — around the Sribniy Kil lake; park named after Košice in Darnytsia district; square on Kontraktova Square in Podilsky district. And also — a square along Volodymyrskyi Proezd in Shevchenkivskyi district. Partial repairs will also be carried out in the park “Hydropark” in the Dnipro district.

“In some green areas, paths with FEM, bicycle paths, new benches and bins, an irrigation system, modern lighting and video surveillance will be installed. Land improvement will be carried out. If necessary, sports grounds with simulators, children’s playgrounds, dog walking areas, and public restrooms will be installed,” Vitaliy Klitschko said.

The mayor also reminded that work on the construction of a pedestrian bridge and the development of Obolonsky Island is ongoing. So, a large recreation area will appear in the capital this year. It will connect Natalka Park, the embankment and Obolonsky Island, where the new bridge will lead.
