“Coal case”: SBI denied that the court canceled Poroshenko’s detention

The State Bureau of Investigation stated that the information about the alleged cancellation of the preventive measure against Petro Poroshenko within the framework of the “coal case” does not correspond to reality. It is about the detention that the Pechersk District Court of Kyiv chose for the fifth president.

About this informs press service of the DBR.

Formerly “Ukrainian Pravda” paid attention on resolution Pechersk district court from December 29. According to her, SBI investigator Maksym Dzvonyk asked the court to take an unidentified person into custody, but the prosecutor filed a statement to return this request “for revision.”

The text of the resolution does not indicate the name of the person who was placed under preventive measures and the charges against him. But “Ukrainian Pravda” claims that it is about Petro Poroshenko, who is currently a suspect in the case of the purchase of coal in the occupied Donbas.

The State Bureau of Investigation claims that it is not about Poroshenko.
