Defense forces destroyed 18 attack drones with which the Russian Federation attacked Ukraine at night

The “air alarm” signal lasted for more than three hours tonight, during which time the anti-aircraft defenses shot down enemy air targets.

On the night of May 4th, the enemy again attacked with “shahedas” from the north (Bryansk region) and from the south – from the east coast of the Sea of ​​Azov.

The invaders used up to 24 “Shahed-136/131” attack drones.

This time, the forces and means of the Air Force, in cooperation with the air defense of other components of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, destroyed 18 attack UAVs.

All enemy missiles and UAVs that attacked Kyiv on the night of Thursday, May 4, were shot down by the Air Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, without any casualties or damage.

15 Shahed-131/136 were heading to Odesa at night. Air defense destroyed 12 drones, and three hit the dormitories of one of the city’s educational institutions.

The fire was promptly extinguished. There are no victims or injured.

Combat work was carried out in the northern, central and southern regions of Ukraine. Anti-aircraft missile weapons, aviation and mobile fire groups were used in the areas of responsibility of the “South” and “Center” air commands.

The enemy attacked Kyiv with ballistic missiles and “Shahed” drones. They recorded the fall of fragments of downed aerial objects in some areas of the capital, they did not cause damage to people or buildings.

Tonight in Kyiv and the region, an “air alert” has been going on for several hours, air defense was working.
