Dmytro Kravchenko: The government has appointed a new head of Kyiv OVA

Ruslan Kravchenko has a legal education and is well acquainted with military matters.

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the appointment Ruslan Kravchenko for the position of the head of the Kyiv OVA. About this reported representative of the government in the parliament, Taras Melnychuk in the Telegram channel.

It is noted that the government supported the draft of the presidential decree on the appointment of Ruslan Kravchenko as the new head of the Kyiv OVA.

WHAT IS KNOWN ABOUT RUSLAN KRAVCHENKO

Ruslan Kravchenko is a Ukrainian prosecutor, a participant in the Russian-Ukrainian war.

From 2012 to 2014, he worked as an investigator of the Sevastopol Prosecutor’s Office for supervision.

In September 2014, he entered the military service. He took part in the anti-terrorist operation while performing official duties as a prosecutor. In 2020, he was released from military service to the reserve.

He worked as a military prosecutor during the time of Anatoly Mathios. He was also a prosecutor in the case where Yanukovych was found guilty of high treason and aiding and abetting the war.

From March 15, 2021, he held the post of head of the Buchansk district prosecutor’s office of the Kyiv region.

Previously, he participated in the competition for the position of head of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine.

Awarded the Order of Merit III degree (August 23, 2022).

We will remind you that in January, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy dismissed the heads of several regional state administrations. Among them is Oleksiy Kuleba, the head of Kyiv Regional State Administration, who was promoted.

Currently, the former head of Kyiv region is the deputy head of the Office of the President of Ukraine.
