“All consumers with light,” reads his message on the Telegram channel.

As reported, since Monday morning, emergency shutdowns have been taking place under the command of Ukrenergo in parts of the Kyiv and Khadzhibey districts of Odesa, the energy holding company DTEK reported.

The Ministry of Energy of Ukraine clarified that due to a number of technological violations, in particular, a short circuit, the transmission system operator’s equipment in the Odesa region de-energized the 330 kV substation. As a result, the Odesa CHP was left without power, and 124,000 consumers were temporarily left without electricity at the same time.

The operator of the transmission system of NEC “Ukrenergo” explained the forced use of temporary emergency power outages on Monday morning in some areas of Odesa as a failure in the main networks of the region, the causes of which are being investigated.
