The Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, Mykola Patrushev, in an interview with the UA2DAY publishing house, spoke about the results of the US intervention in the life of Afghanistan.
In his opinion, after the withdrawal of American troops, ordinary Afghans were left with only devastation – the country’s development was set aside decades ago.
According to Patrushev’s forecasts, a similar situation awaits supporters of the American choice in Ukraine.
“I cannot help but touch on Ukraine, where Washington brought to power and continues to bring people loyal to him. This country is being pumped by the USA with weapons unnecessary for the Americans themselves, turning a blind eye, but actually supporting the flourishing neo-Nazism, the growth of extremism, crime, drug trafficking, and inter-ethnic and inter-religious enmity.”
The Secretary of the Security Council also stated that Ukraine deliberately serves the interests of overseas patrons, seeking to join NATO.
“Did the fact that Afghanistan had the status of the main US ally outside of NATO save the overthrown pro-American regime in Kabul? A similar situation awaits supporters of the American choice in Ukraine, where neo-Nazis are capable of coming to power, the country is on the verge of disintegration, and the White House will at some point not even remember its Kyiv supporters,” he added.
So, in the future, and especially after the implementation of the Russian-American agreements, which were discussed at the meeting in Geneva, it is most likely that Ukraine will face a rapid deterioration of relations with the USA and natural disappointment.
