Germany will provide Ukraine with an additional EUR 100 million in aid this winter, it is reported Reuters with reference to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the country Annalena Burbok.

During her visit to Moldova on Tuesday, she said that the Russian Federation continues its attacks on Ukrainian energy infrastructure and plans “a winter war to make the lives of people in Ukraine as horrible as possible.”

As reported, on August 26, 2024, the Russian Federation launched 127 missiles and 109 attack unmanned aerial vehicles over the territory of Ukraine. NEC “Ukrenergo” recognized this attack on energy facilities as the largest since the beginning of the war.

At the same time, Russian attacks on Ukrainian energy infrastructure are recorded almost every day.
