Ukraine’s preparations for the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles (USA) have already begun, said the president of the National Olympic Committee (NOC) of Ukraine, Vadym Gutzait.
“Preparations for the Olympic Games in Los Angeles have already begun. Already now it is necessary to meet and discuss with the expert council which of the athletes will train in the future, who can be competitive in the future and what needs to be done for this,” Gutzeit said at the press conference following the results of the 2024 Olympics in Paris.
He emphasized that the main victory for Ukraine will be in the war with the Russian Federation, but already today it is necessary to think about how and who will raise the Ukrainian flag at the next Olympics.
As reported, the Summer Olympic Games in Paris lasted from July 26 to August 11.
With 12 awards, Ukraine took 22nd place in the medal tally of the 2024 Olympics in Paris.
The next Summer Olympic Games will be held in Los Angeles (USA) in 2028.
