In Kovel, the court chose a preventive measure against the world martial arts champion on suspicion of hooliganism

Under the procedural guidance of the prosecutors of the Kovel district prosecutor’s office, the 21-year-old European and world champion in one of the martial arts was notified of suspicion of hooliganism.

On the evening of April 1, 2023, a young man and a 27-year-old accomplice caused a conflict and a fight with passers-by near a restaurant in Kovel, injuring one of them.

It should be noted that indictments in criminal proceedings about the athlete’s intentional infliction of light physical injuries and moderate physical injuries on citizens are pending before the court.

The court chose a preventive measure in the form of detention for the suspect, and house arrest for his accomplice, who was also notified of suspicion of hooliganism.
