The event took place on the eve of 2023, when the roommates quarreled on domestic grounds. Under the influence of the shackled 38, the resident of Podilshchyna decided to strengthen his arguments by force – he grabbed a metal sledgehammer and began to beat the woman on the head and hands, which she tried to defend herself with. The 39-year-old victim reported the incident to the police.
According to the conclusions of the forensic medical examination, part of the victim’s physical injuries, namely multiple bruises and bruises on the head and upper limbs, are light, but the fracture of the right hand is considered to be of moderate severity.
In the presence of sufficient evidence collected by the law enforcement officers, the police investigator charged the perpetrator with the offense provided for in Part 1 of Art. 122 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, i.e. in intentional bodily harm of moderate severity.
We remind you that according to the sanction of the article, such an offense is punishable by correctional labor for a term of up to two years or restriction or deprivation of liberty for a term of up to three years.
