According to the version announced by the FSB press service, the cause of the fire was the ignition of fuel and lubricants in the garage workshop, which led to the explosion and destruction of the building. Before the comment of the special service, the head of the Rostov region of Russia, Vasyl Golubev, stated that the cause of the fire was a short circuit in the commercial premises of the border management, after which containers with PMM exploded.
