Under the procedural leadership of the Sumy Regional Prosecutor’s Office, a resident of Seredyna-Buda, Shostky District, was notified of suspicion of treason.
According to the investigation, the man was involved by an operative of the FSB of the Russian Federation in confidential cooperation with the operative. In order to carry out the tasks of the curator from November 2022, he collected and transmitted information about the presence of military personnel and military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the territory of Shostky district of Sumy region.
The agent sent the coordinates of the locations of the military formations and their number to the enemy with the help of one of the messengers.
The police detained the man. Currently, he has been remanded in custody.
The pre-trial investigation is carried out by investigators of the SBU Office in the Sumy region.
