The head of Mossad, David Barnea, gathered the organization’s employees on Monday for a special meeting devoted to aspects of legal reform and division in society.
The meeting was attended by employees of the organization, who insisted that Barnea meet with them.
Journalist Ilana Dayan reported on the dramatic events.
Israeli intelligence wanted to discuss the implications of the legal legislation.
Barnea agreed to participate in an open discussion about legislation and the social crisis. Answering the questions of the organization’s employees, Barnea said that the institution should act within the framework of the law.
“In the event of a constitutional crisis,” he said, “the Mossad will be on the right side, but we are not ready yet.” We will continue to work to strengthen Israel’s security.”
