Lyashko visited the Poltava region, where he discussed the work of emergency services in providing medical assistance

Date:

The Minister of Health of Ukraine, Viktor Lyashko, visited the Poltava region, where he discussed the work of emergency services in providing medical assistance, reported the head of OVA Philip Pronin.

“The Minister of Health Viktor Lyashko paid a working visit to the Poltava region. They gathered at a joint meeting with the doctors of the “emergency” and hospitals, which were involved in providing assistance to the victims of the Russian attack on Poltava. They thanked the doctors for their incredible resilience and saved the lives of our people. This is the most valuable,” Pronin wrote in the Telegram channel.

According to Pronin, all stages were discussed in detail at the meeting – from the work of emergency services and hospitals that received the injured, to the conduct of a forensic medical examination.

“The medics of the region had to face a large-scale response. The psychological state of doctors is no less important, because at such moments they work in the most difficult conditions, often at the risk of their own lives,” Pronin emphasized.

As reported, the number of people killed as a result of the Russian attack on Poltava on Tuesday, September 3, has increased to 51 people, the Prosecutor General’s Office reports.

In addition, more than 200 people are among the injured.
