The launch of SpaceX’s next Crew Dragon spacecraft to the International Space Station has been postponed to March 2025, NASA announced.
Earlier it was planned in February. The postponement is due to the need for additional time for the technical preparation of the ship.
“Manufacturing, assembling, testing and final integration of a new spacecraft is painstaking work that requires great attention to detail,” said Steve Stich, NASA’s commercial manned flight program manager.
Crew-10 includes NASA astronauts Anne McClain and Nicole Ayers, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) astronaut Takuya Onishi, and Roscosmos cosmonaut Kyrylo Peskov. They are currently continuing their training at NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas.
