The photo exhibition “Unbreakable Education” presents 10 stories of schools in Chernihiv Oblast, Kyiv Oblast and Zhytomyr Oblast, which were deliberately destroyed or seriously damaged as a result of the occupation.
More than 2,700 educational institutions were damaged, and more than 440 were completely destroyed. These are not just buildings, these are the lives of hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian schoolchildren who no longer have a place to study.
The photo exhibition included 10 stories of schools in Chernihiv region, Kyiv region and Zhytomyr region that were destroyed, with broken roofs, broken windows, destroyed libraries and equipment. There are thousands of such schools throughout Ukraine, and each of them is alive as long as it has students.
“We want these stories to remind us all of the extent of the destruction of the educational infrastructure. They were reminded of how important it is to help children return to school, arrange shelters in schools and improve learning conditions, – noted the organizers from the savED charitable foundation. — We must do everything so that Ukrainian children have access to education and do not lose precious school years. Because children are the future of our country, in which we must invest now, without waiting for the end of the war.”
You can get acquainted with the photo exhibition until March 31 at the site near the Kyiv Food Market (Arsenalna village, the landmark is an installation with drops).
