Dear reader, in previous parts of our investigation, we told you about the biography of an extremely talented general of the FSB – Oleg Feoktistovas well as details of a series of high-profile murders on the territory of Ukraine and neighboring states: a former deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Denis Voronenkovcolonel of the GUR of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Maksym Shapoval, and the subsequent “accidental” deaths of persons who directly or indirectly were involved in committing the above-mentioned crimes.
We will remind:
- On March 23, 2017, a former employee of the FSB of the Russian Federation, a member of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, Denis Voronenkov, was killed;
- On March 23, 2017, the person who killed D. Voronenkov was eliminated;
- On June 27, 2017, Maksym Shapoval, an employee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications of Ukraine, who was responsible for the personal security of the late Denys Voronenkov, was killed;
- In 2017, Yaroslav Levenets, the alleged suspect in the murder of Denys Voronenkov, went missing;
- On October 4, 2017, Eduard Axelrod, probably the co-organizer of the murder of Denys Voronenkov, was killed in Kharkiv;
- On October 25, 2019, the second suspect/witness in the case of the murder of Denys Voronenkov, Volodymyr Borokh, was killed;
- On January 10, 2019, Yury Vasylenko, the co-organizer of the murder of Denys Voronenkov, was kidnapped in Moscow and, according to the investigation, killed.
Such a chronology of the commission of crimes is similar to a planned special operation to neutralize an influential witness in the cases of the indictment of the fugitive president Yanukovych and the annexation of Crimea, with the subsequent elimination of most of the participants in the commission of the crime. At least, logically it looks that way.
Judging by the data of open registers and information in the mass media, a number of the above-mentioned crimes were investigated and some of them were even sentenced. However, only secondary performers were convicted.
In addition, based on the chronology of the murders and the existence of reasons to consider them interconnected, a logical question arises: “why were not all these episodes of serious crimes combined into a single criminal proceeding, and a single investigative and operational team was not created for their complete , a comprehensive and high-quality investigation, and the materials of the proceedings, on the contrary, were sent to the court for each individual episode?”
Also, without much effort, we managed to establish, from open and accessible information sources to everyone, that one of the co-organizers (according to the investigation) of the murder of Denis Voronenkov, Yuriy Vasylenko, may be involved in murders of Russian businessman Maksym Kurochkin, which happened on March 27, 2007, near the premises of the Svyatoshyn District Court in Kyiv. Maksym Kurochkin was shot in the head by a sniper’s clear shot.
We will remind that at that time, according to Wiki, in the late Kurochkin had a conflict with the Dnipropetrovsk businessman Gennady Korban for influencing the “Ozerka” market“.
Analyzing the above information and published investigation materials, we assume that from approximately 2004 to 2007, an organized group of individuals specialized in high-profile execution of high-profile contract killings operated openly and effectively with impunity or “controlled” on the territory of Ukraine. And unfortunately, after this assumption, the “puzzle” began to come together, opening new facets in the former cooperation of domestic law enforcement agencies, the FSB, representatives of the criminal world, etc… But, we will tell you about this in the next part of the publication.
To be continued…
