According to industry expert Kostyantyn Kryvopust, founder of SpaceX company Elon Musk stated that the Starlink satellite communication system continues to work in Ukraine on the front line.
He made such a statement in response to a tweet by NASA astronaut Scott Kelly, who asked Musk to restore the full functionality of Starlink satellites in Ukraine, which is “defending against a genocidal invasion. You can help.”
To this, Musk responded as follows: “You are smart enough not to swallow … propaganda nonsense. Starlink is Ukraine’s communications backbone, especially on the front lines where almost all other internet connections have been destroyed,” Musk tweeted.
“But we will not allow the escalation of the conflict, which could lead to the Third World War,” he added.
