The ambassador to Serbia took part in the organization and shipment of power equipment to Ukraine

On March 28, an official ceremony was held to send to Ukraine trucks with electrical energy equipment, which became part of the humanitarian aid formed by the EU to the energy sector of Ukraine, – informs Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Serbia Volodymyr Tolkach.

“The government of Serbia took part in this pan-European campaign and allocated equipment designed to replace the equipment of energy infrastructure facilities damaged as a result of Russian missile strikes.

The ceremony was attended by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia A. Brnabych, the Ambassador of Ukraine V. Tolkach, the Minister for European Integration of the RS T. Misevich, the Head of the EU Delegation to Serbia E. Jofre, the Ambassador of Japan (the country chairing the G7) in Serbia D .Maruyama.

Volodymyr Tolkach gave a short speech at a short briefing before sending the cargo. He expressed his sincere gratitude to the Government of Serbia and the EU for the provision of humanitarian aid, which is important for Ukraine, and also emphasized the future cooperation in the single family of European nations, which Ukraine and Serbia aspire to join.

Words of support and solidarity with Ukraine were also expressed in the speeches of the head of the Serbian government A. Brnabych and the head of the EU delegation in the RS E. Jofre. They assured those present of the unchanging nature of their intentions and determination to continue providing the necessary assistance to the Ukrainian people in these tragic times.”
