“The enemy of zacheburashim”: children in the Russian Federation sew cheburashoks with the letter Z

Date:

In the Oryol region, schoolchildren were forced to sew soft toys as “talismans” for servicemen of the Russian Armed Forces at the front in Ukraine. The news story tells about the “kind look and charming face” of fleece cheburashkas.

Children in the Oryol region of the Russian Federation were forced to sew soft toys in the form of cheburashkas with the letter Z, which are called a “symbol” of the war against Ukraine. This is reported in a news story on the local “Orel” TV channel, reports Focus with a link to the online edition of Astra.

As specified, fleece products will be sent to Russian military personnel as “talismans”.

“It’s not long ago [чебурашка] — not only a favorite cartoon character, but also one of the symbols of the special operation [війни проти України]. Throughout the country, chevrons are made with the image of Cheburashka, gingerbread cookies are baked and parcels are sent to the front,” they say in the Oryol region.

In connection with this, the aggressor country even came up with its own absurd slogan “the enemy is zacheburashim”.

“Probably, thanks to her kind look and charming face, she is even on the front line [іграшка] will make you smile and make sure: we will defeat the enemy and victory will be ours,” says the journalist in the story.

So far, the children have sewn 35 toys, but they are not going to stop there – here they hope to create a hundred similar products with the letter Z.
