The solemn opening of the annual Austrian Cinema Festival, which covers the most striking and resonant Austrian tapes of recent years, took place at the Kiev cinema “October” on April 10.
The first in the festival, which takes place in Ukraine, was shown the movie “Peacock” by director Bernhard Wenger.
The festival will last in Kiev until April 15 inclusive. The film review will also be held in Lviv on May 15-18 and Chernivtsi from April 30 to May 4.
The festival is held by the Embassy of the Republic of Austria in Ukraine in conjunction with the Arthouse Traffic Film Company with the support of Amic Energy General Partner.
