The State Geogadra was canceled by the Special Removal of the Motronovsky GOK because of sanctions against Firtash.

The State Service of Geology and Subsoil of Ukraine has canceled the special permission №3640, issued by LLC “Motronovsky GOK” for the development of the Malyshevsky deposit of titanium ores in Dnipropetrovsk region. About it reports Nadra.info with reference to the order of the Head of the State Geneadr Oleg Gotsinets of April 11, 2025.

The decision was made on the basis of President Vladimir Zelensky’s decree of June 24, 2024, which was put into effect by the sanctions of the National Security and Defense Council against Dmitry Firtash – the final beneficiary of the enterprise. One of the points of sanctions was the cancellation of this special permit.

After the imposition of sanctions, the Motronovsky GOK resulted in the permission of Tiberius Plus, connected with businessman Alexei Shestyuk, and has achieved a temporary prohibition in court for the State Geonadre for its cancellation. However, on April 7, 2025, the Supreme Court abolished this restriction, which opened the way to the final decision to terminate the permit.

Earlier, in another similar situation, Trends Syshm was avoided the loss of special permit for the development of Fedorov’s gas condensate square, since the agreement on its sale was concluded before the imposition of sanctions against one of the participants – Vadim Yermolaev, reminds the publication.
