The metropolitan metro and ground transport have changed their work schedules

Date:

From today, the metro and ground transport will operate an hour longer.

Starting from Sunday, March 26, the curfew will be shortened in Kyiv. It will last from 00:00 to 05:00. In this connection, the operation of public transport is changing. The metro, buses, trams and trolleybuses will operate one hour longer.

So, from March 26:

  • ground transport will operate from 05:30 to 23:30;
  • the metro will operate from 06:00 to 23:00;
  • the funicular will operate from 07:00 to 22:00.

The Kyiv Metro asks you to pay attention to the fact that subway stations close at the entrance at different times, taking into account the passage of the last trains on the lines. Intervals of train movement during peak hours are 4-5 minutes, during off-peak hours – 8-10 minutes. You can find out more about the train schedule and the mode of operation of the stations here link

We will remind, during the air alert, the underground metro stations continue to work as a shelter, and the movement of trains on the ground sections is suspended.

Earlier, the Mayor of Kyiv Vitaliy Klychko announced that the Hidropark metro station will resume operation in the capital from April 1. Lobby No. 1 will remain open for the time being. Trains will continue past the Dnipro station without stopping, as they do now.

We would also like to remind you that since March 25, the operation of the lobbies at the Obolon metro station has changed. Lobby No. 2 opened in the direction of Pochayna station, and lobby No. 1 in the direction of Minsk station was closed.
