The Olympic Village in the north of Paris opened its doors on Thursday, French media reported.
It is expected that during the day the first participants of the competition will arrive, in particular from the USA and New Zealand.

4,000 employees and another 1,500 volunteers will ensure the functioning of the village.
In particular, training facilities, gyms, a polyclinic, and an anti-doping center are located on the territory of this zone.
On Sunday, July 14, Bastille Day, the Olympic flame arrived in Paris. It was carried along the Champs-Élysées and then along a route that included the National Assembly building, Notre-Dame Cathedral and the Louvre.
