Tigipko left the post of chairman of the supervisory board of SC “TAS”

The shareholders of TAS insurance company at the meeting on September 14 appointed Olga Maksymchuk as the head of the supervisory board of this company instead of Serhiy Tihipko. This is stated in the notification of the SC in the Smida information disclosure system.

Tigipko has been in this position for the past 2 years.

Maksymchuk has been appointed head of the Supervisory Board of the SC since September 18. She does not own shares in the TAS insurance company.

During the past 5 years, Maksymchuk held the following positions: member of the National Commission for Regulation of Financial Services Markets, director of the Department of Supervision of the Non-Banking Financial Services Market of the National Bank, chief expert of the National Association of Insurers of Ukraine.

According to YouControl, the insurance company “TAS” was registered in Kyiv on April 24, 2001, its authorized capital is UAH 93.3 million, and the final beneficiary of the insurance company is Serhiy Tihipko.

The company is engaged in other types of insurance, except for life insurance.

As reported, in August the number of non-life insurers (who are engaged in other types of insurance, except life insurance) decreased from 102 to 101, and the number of life insurers (dealing with life insurance) did not change (12).
