Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko was surprised that law enforcement officers did not contact Kiev with his deputy Volodymyr Prokopiv and informed him about suspicion of organizing the scheme of crossing the conscripts across the state border during his trip to Ivano-Frankivsk.

According to the National Police, from May to June 2022, at his instruction, more than 30 men of conscript age was entered in the information system “Path”, which, without legal grounds, crossed the border of Ukraine.
Prokopov, in turn, declared the political motivation of charges, prosecution of the opposition, and “cleaning of local self -government in the capital.”
